My Support

“My Support”
Support is vital to me in many ways.  I have internal support and external support. To me support is a reflection of the grip that glue provides.  Support holds everything together.
My internal support is my family.  Without the support from my family I would not be able to accomplish my current daily activities of working and furthering my education. Having family support helps me to be strong and stay focus. Support reminds me that I cannot do everything by myself.
At home I have the support of my husband and my two daughters.  Whenever I need to have time to discuss my daily activities, they provide me a listening ear and provide me valuable insight when I ask for suggestions.  Currently, my family has been very supportive of my choice to enroll at Walden and extend my professional knowledge.  They all agree that I have a passion to learn as much as I can about the early childhood field, so that I can make a difference to the children and families on the job.  Without my family being supportive, and taking on the household duties of cooking, cleaning, and making sure that I have quiet time to complete my course assignments I would not have been able to take on this additional task.
My external support comes from outside resources.  One of my outside resources that I rely upon is the support from my family physician.  Although I do not have major medical concerns, I have the pleasure of having a physician that I can discuss my aches and pains without feeling like I am just another income source.  My physician is very attentive to my needs and I do not have to make an office visit to get her advice.  I believe that my physician is one in a million and that is why moved to her new location when she decided to open up her own practice.  This type exceptional medical services is very beneficial to me and my family, and allows me to meet my daily responsibilities as a wife and mother knowing that my health is being monitored by someone who truly cares.
